MARTIAL ART EXCHANGE

Sino-Korean martial art exchange activities were grandly
held at Shanghai Sanlin Martial Art Institute on January
10th, 2004.
Mr.
Jin Weiliang, CEO of CHINESE KUNGFU ONLINE, chaired the
opening ceremony with Mr. Ding Jinyou, chairman of
Shanghai Chinese Martial Art Association and president
of Sanlian Martial Art Institute, delivering the welcome
speech. Mr. Song Yongming, chairman of Board of
Directors of Shanghai Sanlin Martial Art Institute, and
Mr. Kyung-sikko, general manager of Korean Travel
Culture Service Center attended the opening ceremony.
Players
from the two countries conducted Wushu and Taekwondo
exchange in the morning. Chinese players rendered
excellent performances in long boxing, tri-person
boxing, broadsword, spear, rapier and cudgel, group
Shaolin boxing, Xanda, Baji boxing, Taiji boxing, Taiji
rapier, and Taiji Universal Free Step Eight Patterns.
Various fantastic performances of Chinese Martial Art
with marvelous actions and internal strength were hailed
ardently by all the participants. Taekwondo action,
combat and dance performed by Korean players also won
heated applause from their Chinese counterparts. In the
afternoon, Korean players learnt Chinese Martial
Art—Black Tiger Boxing under the guidance of their
Chinese trainer. The abundance and long history of
Chinese Martial Art aroused deep interest and passion
among Korean players and they learnt by heart in earnest
each action and position of the martial art. Afterwards,
Mr. Ding Jinyou, chairman of Shanghai Chinese Martial
Art Association, and Mr. Jin Weiliang, CEO of CHINESE
KUNGFU ONLINE awarded all the Korean players with
training certificates to symbolize a successful complete
of the exchange.
The
Sino-Korean Martial Art Exchange has played a positive
role in promoting and spreading deep-rooted Chinese
Martial Art culture, and facilitating the vigorous
development of Sino-Korean martial art cultural
exchange.
